SOUL POWER POSSE was first conceived in 1992 by "Funky" Leroy Harper while
touring Japan with James Brown. He put the band together as an outlet for them
to play side gigs while touring with the Godfather of Soul. With "RAPS" as their
mantra (Roots, Authenticity, Passion & Soul), Soul Power Posse delivers a show
worthy of the Godfather himself. They are the masters of Party Funk while their
style is unique and refreshing and as the band says, "Forever funkin'."
